How to Add an Event


There are several ways to create an event in Party Rental Planner.  The easiest way is to use the main navigation.  From the main navigation you can create a customer or an event.

From the main navigation select the ‘Events’ from the dropdown and select ‘New’.  You will be presented with sform where you can enter the first and last name of your customer. Use the date fields to select the date of the event. Note: if you leave the date field empty you will just be creating a customer.  With just a customer you can create an event in the future by finding the customer and adding the event to the customer.

 As you type a first or last name into the form Party Rental Planner will attempt to find any customer with a similar first or last name. this will prevent you from adding a duplicate customer.
